Cyclists' Touring Club
The CTC has a regular programme of Sunday rides, including a number of easier-paced rides.

Bury Tandem Club for Visually Impaired People
The Tandem Club organises Sunday rides of between 40 and 50 miles. People who would be willing to ride tandem, sighted or not, are always welcome.

Bury Clarion Club
The Clarion Club holds impromptu club runs each Sunday. Current members are mostly interested in time trials and track racing. There is also a Bolton Club which attracts members from the Bury Area.

ABC Centerville
ABC Centreville is the Heywood and Middleton section of the CTC as well as being affiliated to the main racing organisations. It has a full programme of club runs at weekends, including a slow, short, Sunday run for leisure riders, younger riders and trailer-towers.

Cycle training
The Road Safety Unit at Bury offer a range of cycle training;

Cycle training for children
The Road Safety Unit offers Bikeability cycle training to all schools in the borough for children aged 10 and over who have a roadworthy bike and helmet.

Cycle training for adults
Individual refresher/confidence-raising sessions aimed at adults who wish to ride their cycle for transport (home to work - work to home) or leisure purposes.
