Salford City Council have established a Cycle Forum to promote cycling and related activities within the city.

The forum offers the opportunity for people who are interested in cycling, or the promotion of cycling to meet in a relaxed, informal, friendly atmosphere to discuss related issues.

Already the forum has helped develop and launch the council’s Local Cycle Strategy "Encouraging Cycling", as well as providing constructive advice on the planning and development of cycle routes in Salford, and much more. Meetings are held on Thursday’s at 6.00pm in the Civic Centre, Swinton on the following dates,
