Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge

MedEquip4Kids exists to provide specialist medical equipment for children’s wards and neo-natal units at hospitals across the north of England to ensure children and babies receive the best possible care when sick or injured. We need your support to continue to make this possible and turn this landmark anniversary into our most successful year to date!

The Coast2 Coast Challenge will start on Friday 2nd July from Arnside in Cumbria and finish on Sunday 4th July in Scarborough. There will be two overnight stays in Hawes on Friday 2nd and in Osmotherly on Saturday 3rd. There will be an early start on Friday morning, so accommodation will be available to you should you wish to stay over in Arnside on Thursday night. Rooms are very limited however and so they will be booked on a first come first served basis.

The distance will be approximately 130 miles, therefore you will be cycling around 40-60 miles each day. You must ensure you have a good level of fitness and are confident of cycling these sorts of distances. A good level of training is essential for completing this event safely and to get the most enjoyment from it.

It is £50 to register and we ask that you raise a minimum of £450 in sponsorship, with 50% of the sponsorship to be sent to MedEquip4Kids by Friday 4th June.
