We have an interactive cycle map and an order form for copies of paper maps.

Following improvement work to the disused Pennington Railway Line, a new island has just been completed at the northern end, to provide a refuge on the busy St. Helen's Road.

Cyclists can now cross more safely and access the traffic-calmed Bonnywell Road. This provides a quiet link to Siddow Common, the Bridgewater Canal, and Leigh town centre. In the oppositie direction, there is now much better access to the 6th Form Centre, Leigh Sports Village, and Pennington Flash Country Park.

This scheme is part of the annual programme of cycling improvements carried out by Wigan Council.
